Georgia running back Nick Chubb was effective during the first half on Saturday but was shelved in the second half with an ankle injury against Ole Miss.

Chubb picked up 57 yards on 12 carries (4.8 yards per carry) in the first half.
However, Georgia went into the locker room at halftime already down 31-0 on the road. One wonders if Chubb might have gutted out the second half if the Bulldogs were close in this contest.
But in this case, being dominated and needing quick scores to come back, it makes sense to save the dynamic running back, who missed half of last season with a knee injury, for another battle.
Georgia went into this game 3-0 on the season. Barring a miracle, the program will drop to 3-1 and will still be in the playoff hunt with some key SEC games left on the schedule in the coming weeks.
Up next for the Bulldogs is a home game against Tennessee, which went into Week 4 undefeated as well.
