According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, Christina Allegretti and her family were able to FaceTime with Nick’s parents to share the great news.
For the 26-year-old Allegretti, who will be seeking his second Super Bowl ring, it might not even matter at the wildly early hour the news of these gifts occurred or how much sleep the big fellow ended up getting. This guy is likely going to be fueled by pure adrenalin and pride come kickoff time.
And that’s probably just about the perfect formula for a player who will mostly be lining up with the special teams unit.
