On Saturday, the Vegas Golden Knights (10-6-8) play the third of a four-game homestand. They’ve lost four in a row and will look to get back into the win column. They’ll face the San Jose Sharks (12-10-3) at T-Mobile Arena.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 p.m. PST.

The Golden Knights were last in action on Friday against the Montreal Canadiens. Despite a strong start, the Canadiens scored first and held them off the scoreboard until it was too late. They broke Sam Montembaut’s shutout, but lost 4-1.

The Sharks were also in action on Friday at home against the Vancouver Canucks. They scored two quick goals in the second period and held on for a 3-2 win.

Carl Lindbom was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, so he’ll make his first career start tonight against the Sharks.

Alex Nedeljkovic will start in net for the Sharks. Nedeljkovic has a record of 1-1-1 and an average save percentage of .915 in four career games against the Golden Knights.

Amid a four-game losing streak, the Golden Knights are making a significant change. Veterans Reilly Smith and Brandon Saad won’t play tonight; Cole Reinhardt and Alexander Holtz will draw back into the lineup. Bruce Cassidy explained why after morning skate on Saturday.
