Thursday, the AHL released the roster for the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic, and gracing the Central Division’s lineup was a trio of Carolina Hurricanes prospects.

Chicago Wolves forwards Justin Robidas and Bradly Nadeau, and Wolves defenseman Domenick Fensore are expected to take the short trek from Glenview, Illinois, to neighboring Rockford, Illinois, where the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic will be held February 10-11.

It will be the first AHL All-Star Game in Illinois, and the first held in a mid-west city since 2004’s game was hosted in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Robidas, Nadeau, and Fensore have played exceptionally well for the Wolves this season, in addition to their NHL call-ups. Robidas, who wears the ‘A’ for Chicago, currently sits second on the Central Division’s roster in goals, with 15, behind only the Grand Rapids Griffins’ John Leonard, who leads with 21 goals.

This will be the first All-Star Game for all three of the Hurricanes’ prospects, and the first time in recent memory for more than two prospects were selected to represent their AHL-affiliate.

February 11th will be a big day for Hurricanes-adjacent hockey, as it will not only feature the All-Star Classic’s three-on-three tournament, but will also mark the beginning of the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics’ men’s ice hockey tournament.
