According to a report from Chris Johnston of The Athletic, Zach Parise has resumed skating after it was announced the veteran forward would not be returning for a 19th season in the NHL to begin the year.
We don’t know if Parise is planning on making a comeback as of now.
However, we do know that if he does, he wants to rejoin the New York Islanders. Parise spent the last two years playing for the Islanders, serving a key role in their lineup and revitalizing his career in the process. During his exit interview at the end of last season, Parise he’d only play for the Islanders if he did choose to play again.
