“Sunday is about winning a hockey game, and we need to win badly,” Matt Martin said. “It’s an important game for us, and every game is going to be important from here on out. We need to definitely come in with a good attitude and be committed to winning.”

“At the end of the day, we need to get wins to get these points,” Bo Horvat said. “It all starts here on Sunday, battling to get them.”

“Our focus has been on getting better this week,” Cal Clutterbuck said. “We’ve put in a lot of time and effort into making sure that we’re prepared. I feel like we’ve prepared for it well, and the one thing that’s going to allow us to enjoy it is a big win.”

It’s a big opportunity for us to hammer out some things we need to work on,” Anders Lee said. “At the same time, to have a really hard practice the other day, you don’t get that [often]. That’s a luxury. We don’t get that in our calendar very often, and to be able to get a great workout in and improve how you feel, maybe not the next day, but a couple of days down the line, you start to feel really good.”

Regardless, Sunday will be a really cool experience,” Lee said.  “But our minds are going to be on the game and what we have to do and what’s needed of us to win the game.

They’re playing well right now, Mile Reilly said. For us, there are some good things going on, but just some fundamentals that need to be night in and night out. We’re going to have a lot of adrenaline and energy on Sunday. We’re Using these practice days to get everything down.

The most important thing is to get the two points,” Reilly said.  That’s what we’re focused on. I think it was nice that we did everything [on Thursday] with family skate and the practice out there. It’s nice to get that out of the way a couple of days early. Now, you can just focus on hockey and just preparing for the game.
