It has only been a day since the New York Islanders relieved head coach Barry Trotz of his duties. A replacement will likely not be named soon, as Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello won’t rush a critical decision nor limit his options by settling for who is available at this current moment.
However, the needs for the New York Islanders do not change with this management move.
Well I think the offseason priorities are no different than they were during the year. First of all, we’d like to improve our defense if we can, as far as offensively and is a way of making a hockey deal, simply with offloads we would do that. But I think what we have to do is get provement out of our younger players and also a more complete year veterans than we did this year
