New York Islanders head coach Barry Trotz wanted to see forward Oliver Wahlstrom play more of a two-way game before moving him up in the lineup.
On Thursday night against the Boston Bruins, Wahlstrom was rewarded the opportunity to skate on the Islanders’ top line, alongside Anders Lee and Jean-Gabriel Pageau.
