
Say what you will about the New Jersey Devils’ current holdout with Luke Hughes, but looking over the contracts they do have, they’re in a real good position. I mean, they have some of the top talent in the league, and none of them make over $9 million. I know, I know, hindsight is 20/20. But the most lucrative contract in NHL history was just inked, and there’s going to be more mega-deals to follow. The Devils are in a good spot, salary-wise.
