It’s interesting to zoom the lens out on what’s going on with Tri-State hockey. The New Jersey Devils’ win-now window is just opening. Meanwhile, the New York Rangers’ window is closing. The New York Islanders’ window seems to be closing, but we’ll know more when we find out who the general manager is going to be.

Regardless of their differences, they’re all going to be making changes this summer.

Part of those changes for the Blueshirts might involve cutting ties with some household names. More on that in the links.
