Even More: The Devils hosted the New York Islanders last night, and manhandled the B-squad Patrick Roy iced. Amid the butt-kicking, Connor Brown began to show obvious chemistry with his new linemates.
Before puckdrop yesterday, Pierre LeBrun dropped a less encouraging update on the Luke Hughes negotiations.
