The regular season got underway yesterday, and the New Jersey Devils were off. They’re back on the ice this morning for practice before they take off to Raleigh to face the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday for their season opener.

Yesterday, the Devils got another piece of business done, and as a result, reassigned two players to the American Hockey League as a result. Despite the roster being named official on Monday, Tuesday already brought its first changes.
