The Stanley Cup Playoffs are when things tend to get real spicy. For the New Jersey Devils, it was basically tasteless after their lashing at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes. However, north of the boarder, things got real spicy when Travis Green threw shade at the Toronto Maple Leafs after his Ottawa Senators fell in the first game of their opening round matchup.

Elsewhere, an ex-Devils prospect signs his ELC in North America to turn pro, Tyler Toffoli talks about being a potential captain, and Pittsburgh’s summer plans.

NYI Hockey Now: Semyon Varlamov missed half the season with an undisclosed injury. Now that the New York Islanders are eliminated, the Isles goaltender spoke, explaining he’s trying to return next season.
