At least for today, the New Jersey Devils sit atop the league on the NHLs throne.

New Jersey Devils

Deservedly so. The Devils are scorching hot right now, winners of six straight after they couldn’t string together more than three W’s in a row last season.

The most impressive thing about it, too, is their ability to win in diverse ways. Sheldon Keefe had more to say about that in the takeaway’s from last night’s victory.

Also in the links, more whispers of a potential Dougie Hamilton trade. Full disclosure, nothing is imminent, and I’m of the belief it won’t happen until the summer at the earliest. But, never say never.

Elsewhere, the Blueshirts have a decision to make, is Pittsburgh actually kind of good? And a Philly rumor debunked.

Let’s do that hockey.
