The New Jersey Devils (5-4-2) host the Anaheim Ducks (3-3-1) at the Prudential Center on Sunday night before they embark on a three-game west-coast road trip next week.

Last time out, the Devils faced the New York Islanders in a heated tilt that ended in favor of the Islanders in overtime.

Devils Postgame: Devils Rescue Point; Fall to Islanders for Fourth Straight Loss

The Ducks are heading into the second leg of a back-to-back after they faced the New York Rangers on Saturday night in Madison Square Garden. Anaheim fell to the Devils’ division rival as Ryan Lindgren and Will Cuylle each scored in the third period to give New York a two-goal advantage. A retaliatory strike by Olen Zellweger brought the Ducks back within a goal, but Jonathan Quick clamped down the remainder of the third period to get the Rangers back in the win column.

The Ducks come into New Jersey yet to have built any real chemistry in terms of their schedule, trading wins and losses each night.
