It’s no secret that Game 1 of the New Jersey Devils’ first-round matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes is why the latter is the overwhelming favorite to move on to round 2. Head coach Sheldon Keefe said that everyone, including himself, needs to step up moving forward.

They’ll get their shot at redemption tonight in Game 2, with the chance to head back to New Jersey tied, or even deeper in the hole.
