Sunny Mehta quickly endeared himself to the New Jersey Devils faithful on Tuesday. But, c’mon. He’s a former professional poker player. Of course he wasn’t going to show his hand.

He did, however, called me right out on my accent, which is apparently undeniably obvious that it derives from Staten Island.

Yes, that’s where I grew up. Don’t worry, I am a native New Jerseyan now.
