When Sunny Mehta was introduced as New Jersey Devils general manager almost a month ago to the day, Sheldon Keefe was present and smiling.
It should come as no surprise to see him remain behind New Jersey’s bench next season.
However, he’s not going to be surrounded by all of the same faces. Half of his assistants were let go or reassigned yesterday, and a search for replacements are underway. More in the links on the latest Devils news.

New Jersey Hockey Now: So, it seems Sunny Mehta has come to his decision. Sheldon Keefe is staying on as Devils head coach. However, Mehta went ahead and made more changes around Keefe.
