Forever Blueshirts: It’s not New York Rangers related, but Jim Cerny always makes the connection. Former Blueshirts bench boss, John Tortorella, lands a job that shocked the world. He’s now the head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights, who promptly fired Bruce Cassidy on Sunday.

The Athletic ($): So, the Golden Knights stay true to their relentless nature, pushing Cassidy, the coach that brought them their first-ever Stanley Cup out. Is he truly to blame?

Florida Hockey Now: Their fans have certainly been holding onto hope despite the fact that they’re unlikely to make the playoffs that Sasha Barkov would play for the Florida Panthers. Paul Maurice has an update on that, and it’s not what they want to hear.

Sportsnet: If you weren’t planning on watching much hockey tonight, perhaps you’ll want to tune into the Toronto Maple Leafs’ tilt with the Anaheim Ducks.
