- The Habs have received important contributions from a variety of players since the playoffs started, but none have matched the consistency of rookie netminder Jakub Dobes. He’s improved his statistics significantly, and there’s no need to change his style of play, as some suggested. [Jakub Dobes A Beacon Of Consistency For The Canadiens]
- The NHL announced two fines following Game 3. The first was to Beck Malenstyn, who decided it would be a good idea to run Dobes at full speed. - The New Jersey Devils are officially locked in at 12th overall in the first round of the 2026 NHL Draft. If you’ve read thus far, you’ll know we’ve advocated that the Devils should be aggressive in pursuit to move the pick in a trade to bring in a top-six forward that will immediately impact the roster. Preferably on Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt‘s line.[New Jersey Devils]
- The front office of the Boston Bruins made one thing clear this week: there is more work to be done. Both Bruins president Cam Neely and general manager Don Sweeney mentioned bringing in speed and skill at the end-of-season press conference on Wednesday. While they were happy with the culture and identity that the team built, as well as making the playoffs, there is more to be done before the Bruins are contenders for the Stanley Cup. [Boston Bruins]
- Through the first three games of their second-round series, the power play had been actively hurting the Anaheim Ducks. But that all changed Sunday night. [Anaheim Ducks]
