With a series now evened, the Carolina Hurricanes will visit the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre Monday for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final.
The game is scheduled for 8:00 PM EDT.
In Game 1, the Hurricanes did not have their act together. A lack of puck awareness and their typical defensive grip were a pair of prominent issues in the first period, which ultimately cost them the game. Thankfully for Hurricanes fans, Game 2 was a completely different story.
They came out of the gates strong and didn’t just reset the series, but set the tone. They looked like the same team that played the previous two rounds. Their suffocating play style returned, allowing just 12 shots on goal throughout the game, with none in overtime, and putting up 26 of their own.
