Mike Leach

During the first quarter of Saturday’s game between Oregon and Washington State, the Cougars pulled off an absolutely insane play for the contest’s first score.

A player lined up well outside of the pocket snapped the ball. He snapped it to the quarterback, who then handed off to running back James Williams.

So, the formation was wild — pure Mike Leach.

As if that weren’t crazy enough, Williams wiggled out of what appeared to be some sure tackles, working his way all the way into the end zone for the improbable score.

This was a truly wild moment, and it put the Cougars up 7-0.
