WATCH: Kiko Alonso with game-winning pick-six on Philip Rivers

In a tied game with just over a minute remaining, Philip Rivers had the San Diego Chargers in position to potentially win the game. As we’ve seen too many times the past two years, that’s not what went down. Instead, Rivers threw the ball right to Miami Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso, who took it to the house for six points.

This gave the Dolphins a one-touchdown lead with 61 seconds remaining on the clock. Then on the next San Diego drive, Rivers ended the game by throwing his fourth interception of the game.

Miami won, 31-24.

It’s been that kind of season for the Chargers and their fans, who now realize they won’t have “their team” for much longer in San Diego.
