Jacoby Brissett

Early in the second quarter of Saturday’s game between the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts, backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett threw a stunning touchdown pass to tight end Eric Ebron.

Ebron was covered by two defenders on this play, but only he could have come down with this absolute dart of a throw by Brissett:

The Colts clearly would like to see Andrew Luck start the season under center. Yet his calf and high-ankle injury continues to be a problem, and it’s not a sure thing he’ll be ready for Week 1.

The good news is that if Brissett has to step in for Luck, he’s clearly capable of handling the job.
