In a surprise turn of events, it’s being reported that Randy Gregory is eligible to return to practice with the Dallas Cowboys this week, per Albert Breer of The MMQB.

Breer also reports Gregory is eligible to play in Week 16, pending the appeal for his most recent suspension.
My understanding is Randy Gregory still won't be eligible to play until Week 16 vs. Detroit. But Dallas will have him at practice tomorrow.

Gregory, who the Cowboys have had serious concerns about yet have stood behind him, hasn’t done a lot of positive things since Jerry Jones took a gamble and drafted him in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Since that time, the Nebraska product has appeared in 12 games, earning no starts, and has tallied just seven tackles and nary a sack.
Considered a risky player because of his history of testing positive for marijuana at Nebraska and during the draft, Gregory has already been suspended twice for this reason. Thankfully he has plenty of support within the Cowboys organization, regardless of what happens to him on the football field.
If he were to be activated for a return in Week 16, it seems unlikely that Gregory would have a huge impact for Dallas’ defense, though the team could certainly use a boost rushing the passer.
