St. Louis Rams cornerback E.J. Gaines made this Christmas a little more special for 15 children. The injured second-year defensive back joined up with Hope Center and gave out $100 gift cards to Toys “R” Us on Tuesday morning and helped the kids pick out their treasured gifts.
Here are a couple moments from the encounter, shared by Sarah Plake of 41 Action News.

Gaines has time to kill right now as he recovers from a Linsfranc injury suffered in training camp. It’s nice to see he’s doing something positive with his time. Clearly, the children who received his attention and gifts Tuesday morning are grateful he’s spending it with them.
This will be a moment they’ll likely remember for the rest of their lives.
