The New York Giants and co-owner Steve Tisch may not be able to escape links to the Epstein files following a new and worrisome report.

Late in January, the NY Giants got news that every major public organization fears. A member of their club emerged in a new dump of files from the government’s investigation into infamous pedophile and sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein. However, it was no ordinary member of the franchise. It was co-owner Steve Tisch.

The files showed interactions between the two, as the NFL owner sought Epstein’s help to procure women to keep him company. In the fallout, the 76-year-old tried to quell concerns with a statement that looked to specify their relationship.

“We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,” Tisch wrote. “I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.”

Well, a new report seems to counter the NY Giants’ co-owner’s claims. On Thursday, The Athletic released a new report with an update on the dealings between Tisch and Epstein. While the NFL boss said he never took him up on any invites, new documents show the two did meet for breakfast and enjoyed their encounter.

Furthermore, the breakfast date came after Epstein had been sued several times by his victims, served 13 months of work-release, and was already a registered Level 3 sex offender.

“Within three weeks of that breakfast, Tisch and Epstein began exchanging emails about women in ribald terms,” The Athletic reports. “Pulling from his catalog of candidates, Epstein provided Tisch options: an aspiring actress with a ’10 ass,’ a microbiology major at a university, an ‘exotic’ Tahitian woman, who Epstein reassured Tisch was not a ‘working girl.’

“During one exchange, Epstein appeared to have a moment of hesitation. He wrote: ‘Send me a number to call I don’t like records of these conversations.’ But the two men continued emailing extensively. ‘I am happy to have you as a new but obviously shared-interest friend,’ Epstein wrote Tisch.”

The report claims Epstein set the NY Giants co-owner up with at least four women in the following months. None of them is believed to be underage, but they were all meant to be young.

The NY Giants and Tisch will surely hope this story blows over in time, but more files and information could create a response from fans and non-fans that the franchise won’t like but has to reconcile with.
