The NFL has fined the Pittsburgh Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin after learning the team violated the league’s injury report policy.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Steelers received a $75,000 fine and Tomlin a $25,000 fine for their failure too accurately list quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on the team’s injury report prior to Week 2.

According to Pelissero, the fine came after quarterback Mason Rudolph publicly disclosed, among others, that Roethlisberger complained of pain in his elbow before the team’s Week 2 contest.

Pittsburgh failed to disclose the information on the team’s injury report throughout the week.
