There’s renewed optimism surrounding the New York Giants after hiring former Super Bowl winner John Harbaugh as their head coach. But the Giants didn’t just make a coaching change from Brian Daboll to Harbaugh; they’ve also been busy addressing some of the roster’s biggest holes.

Yet, amidst the Giants’ attempts to upgrade at multiple positions, they’ve also suffered some losses. That includes watching Wan’Dale Robinson sign with the Titans after a career year. Undoubtedly, the Giants will want to find someone who can make up for his loss. Recent signee Darnell Mooney could be part of the solution, but the Giants may still be keeping their options open.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, one of those options could be to reunite with Giants legend Odell Beckham Jr. The 33-year-old receiver has received renewed interest in joining a team after a positive showing at the Fanatics Flag Football game last weekend.

While Beckham did still show off his trademark hands that made him an NFL superstar, keep in mind, he didn’t play a single snap last season. The year before, Beckham recorded just nine receptions for 55 yards with the Dolphins. He hasn’t had a 1,000-yard season since 2019.

Yet, with Malik Nabers aboard, the Giants won’t be counting on OBJ for top-notch production. They simply need another capable pass-catcher who can be relied on when the chips are down. That’s where the former Super Bowl winner can help.
