Muhammad Wilkerson sends cancer patient ball and get-well note

If you are 24 years old and battling cancer, a gift from one of your favorite players on your favorite team can be just the right thing to lift your spirits.

Muhammad Wilkerson and the New York Jets just did that for one of their fans by sending him a signed ball with their well wishes and a card from the team.

Reddit user Yardley Yeti posted about the team’s gift Wednesday morning, showing the team’s altruism. You can see the signed ball and card in the image below:

It’s always nice to see an NFL team and their star player doing something for the community.
