Two-time All-Pro New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is in the news on a Saturday, which usually isn’t ideal for a pro football player.

According to WDSU news, Thomas was placed in a police car after neighbors called the cops following a dispute. Thomas reportedly grew upset with contractors who were working across the street but had been parking their truck near Thomas’s house.

The contractor is said to have been parking near Thomas’s residence for several weeks, which allegedly led to threats from the Saints receiver. One of which included Thomas saying he’d put a “brick or a bullet” in his truck if the vehicle was not moved.

At some point Friday, the situation escalated, with contractor Luis Cifuentes alleging Thomas threw two bricks at his truck and pushed him over.

“He drives up, and I see him get out, and I was like, ‘I don’t know what he’s doing, I’m just worried about my job site,’ and he walks up to this big pile of sand and grabs a brick, and he throws it at my car, and the guys are like, ‘hey, man your truck, your truck!’ ‘Oh, dude, he’s actually doing something,’ so, I grab my phone and I start recording him, and he grabbed my phone and grabbed and pushed me,”

While Thomas was placed in a police car, there are no indications he was arrested or charged. The Saints have said they “are aware of the incident and are gathering information.”

Meanwhile, Thomas will be playing Sunday when the Saints take on the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium at 1 PM ET on FOX.
