Would the Baltimore Ravens ever trade Lamar Jackson? After all, the two-time MVP is one of the NFL’s best players. Yet, no one thought the Cowboys would ever trade Micah Parsons either.
Plus, with reports hinting at the Ravens having some internal issues with their franchise quarterback, you just never know what could happen this offseason. Teams are always eager to solve their QB problems, and that will be no different as we turn the calendars from 2025 to 2026. Below, we examine five trade landing spots for Jackson when the offseason gets underway.
Miami Dolphins

Jackson has a no-trade clause, so if the Ravens are exactly where he wants to be, then Baltimore has no choice but to keep him. However, if Jackson is interested in playing elsewhere, his heart just might be back home in Miami.
If the Dolphins keep Mike McDaniel, then Jackson would be joining a bright offensive mind armed with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Darren Waller (who would have to sign another contract). Plus, could you imagine how tough it would be for defenses to stop a dual-threat backfield consisting of speed threats like Jackson and De’Von Achane? Good luck keeping up.
Arizona Cardinals

By all appearances, the Cardinals will be moving on from Kyler Murray this offseason. That means Arizona will need a new franchise quarterback. One potential option could be to make a blockbuster proposal for Jackson.
While a trade would likely include two or three first-round picks, plus Murray (if the Ravens have any interest), Jackson would still presumably have a strong foundation of pass-catchers that include Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. Though, having several other holes on the roster could scare the Cardinals away.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts seem most likely to re-sign Daniel Jones this offseason. But there’s no guarantee he’ll return to top form or even be ready to go by Week 1 while he recovers from a torn Achilles. There’s certainly some risk there.
However, if the Colts want to make another blockbuster acquisition, they could put all their chips on the table for Jackson. A trade proposal including Anthony Richardson, a receiver (Michael Pittman or Josh Downs), plus possibly even Sauce Gardner or a pass-rusher such as Kwity Paye or Laiatu Latu, could get the job done. While they likely don’t want to trade Sauce, the opportunity to acquire Jackson could be too good to overlook.
Plus, a QB-RB duo of Jackson and Jonathan Taylor would be hard to stop. When going to the air, tight end Tyler Warren would give Jackson a safe target to throw to, much like he enjoyed with Mark Andrews in Baltimore.
Las Vegas Raiders

Another QB-desperate team that’s likely ready to make a blockbuster trade proposal is the Raiders. They’ve tried to solve the QB position, but Geno Smith was a step in the wrong direction. Now it may be time to offer multiple first-round picks to the Ravens to solve the position once and for all.
The Raiders would have a fun nucleus comprised of Jackson, Ashton Jeanty, and Brock Bowers, while Maxx Crosby holds it down on defense. That’s more than enough to build with.
New York Jets

The Jets didn’t hesitate to deal two of their best players before the NFL trade deadline, shipping off Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner. Those deals fetched a major haul of draft picks. If New York doesn’t like what they see in this year’s QB prospects, the Jets could decide they’d be better off trading their assets away for a proven pro like Jackson.
Plus, he’d finally give this team a much-needed face of the franchise, which would fuel more ticket and jersey sales, all while hopefully making the Jets relevant again.
