Perhaps the greatest salvo in Sunday’s San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals game came not from a current player, but from Kurt Warner.
The Cardinals honored their former quarterback and recent Hall of Fame inductee. Warner was quick to note his success against Sunday’s opponent.
Kurt Warner says it’s appropriate he’s being honored when SF is here because no other team is as responsible for him being in Hall of Fame.

If you care to argue this point, go ahead. Just know that the numbers don’t lie. In this case, they back Warner up in a pretty good way.
Warner threw for more yards (3,807) and touchdowns (24) touchdowns against the 49ers than any other opponent. He also finished his career with a 10-4 mark against San Francisco. He didn’t beat any other team more than seven times.
