Back in September, the NFL revealed that Spanish rapper Bad Bunny would be this year’s Super Bowl halftime performer. The decision was met with with celebration from some parts, and criticism from others. Now we know where the daughter of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ owner stands.

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Clark, who’s better known for her beauty (former Miss Kansas) than her opinions, recently made comments that are critical of the Bad Bunny version of the Super Bowl Halftime Show. In fact, she won’t even be watching his performance.

“When my grandfather named the Super Bowl, he intended it to be something children and families of all ages could come together and watch and really believed that the game should come first, that football is the attraction and that it didn’t need to compromise its character or rely on cheap appeal to draw an audience, especially when that approach can alienate so much of the fan base. The NFL honors women, the military, this country, celebrates communities. So, I think that whoever they select going forward for the halftime show needs to reflect those values more closely.”

Gracie Hunt on Super Bowl Halftime Show

As mentioned, Hunt indicated that she won’t be watching the Bad Bunny Halftime Show this year. She’ll instead be tuning into the alternate “Turning Point USA” halftime performance. Hunt also mentioned that she’d love to see country music performer Jason Aldean or Taylor Swift handle the halftime show in the future instead.

Millions will be watching the Bad Bunny version of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and like every year, millions of people will be watching. Of course, that doesn’t mean everyone will like it, but good luck finding a musical performer that everyone agrees on.

Ultimately, people tune in to see the two best NFL teams square off for a chance to become Super Bowl champions. Others like to see the new million-dollar commercials that debut throughout the evening, but most don’t care about the halftime show, no matter who is performing.
