After missing the postseason for the first time since 2014, it’s clear that the Kansas City Chiefs have to head back to the drawing board in an effort to return to the playoffs in 2026. Some of that groundwork has already been laid.

While those changes have involved the coaching staff, like Matt Nagy moving on to the New York Giants and the Chiefs turning back to Eric Bieniemy to be their new offensive coordinator, roster moves are soon to follow.

One move that All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones would like to see is the Chiefs reuniting with the recently released Tyreek Hill too.

@Cheetah it’s time.”

Jones isn’t the only one connecting the dots between “Cheetah” and his former team since he was released by the Dolphins. NFL insiders have been linking the two together again too. Of course, there will be a lot of teams trying to add the five-time All-Pro to their receiving corps this offseason.

What’s unique about Hill’s situation is that he can sign a new contract right now, meaning he won’t have to wait for free agency to kick off, unlike the hundreds of players with expiring deals.

Hill is coming off a torn ACL and knee dislocation, so he’ll have to prove to the individual team’s medical staff that he’s healthy again. If so, it may not be long before learning which team the speedster is set to play for next season.
