George Kittle is putting the offseason to good use after the San Francisco 49ers came up short in 2025. The star TE is currently rehabbing the Achilles injury he suffered during the Wild Card clash against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he’s clearly keeping spirits high off the field.
Kittle recently hinted that once his days on the gridiron are over, he and his wife might trade Sunday lights for a quieter, family-first life with their fur babies. He also pulled back the curtain on the buzz around Tight End University, including Taylor Swift’s surprise concert appearance that sent fans into a frenzy. And trust us — the Kittles’ offseason playbook has a lot more going on.
Claire Kittle Shares Cozy Offseason Moments Featuring 49ers WAGs

George Kittle and his wife, Claire Kittle, are making the most of the offseason grind. Claire recently dropped an Instagram carousel packed with snapshots featuring Kristin Juszczyk, Olivia Culpo, the Kittles’ fur babies, and plenty of laid-back moments, captioned: “Little moments lately ✨.”
The post gave fans a peek into life off the gridiron as Kittle continues rehabbing the Achilles injury that sidelined him in the playoffs and kept him away from training camp this offseason. While the All-Pro TE has hit pause on camp reps for now, John Lynch previously hinted at the NFL owners’ meetings that Kittle could still be good to go by Week 1. Still, it’s tough picturing the 49ers rolling him out under the bright lights without at least a few camp snaps under his belt.
Ever since San Francisco snagged him with the No. 146 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Kittle has been the heartbeat of the San Francisco 49ers offense. Across nine seasons, the veteran tight end has hauled in 595 catches for 8,008 yards and 52 touchdowns, cementing himself as one of the greatest TEs to ever lace them up.
Even while battling injuries last season, Kittle still put up numbers like a certified playmaker — posting 57 receptions, 628 yards, and seven touchdowns in just 11 games. On paper, the Niners still look built for another Super Bowl push in the NFC, but their offense hits a different gear when No. 85 is fully healthy and trucking defenders down the seam.
If Kittle can suit up for the season opener and return to vintage form, don’t be surprised if his comeback campaign starts gaining serious Comeback Player of the Year buzz.
