The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly bringing cornerback Darqueze Dennard back into the fold on a free agency contract.

Dianna Russini of ESPN reported the move on Thursday afternoon.

Cincinnati selected Dennard out of Michigan State in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He appeared in 68 games for the Bengals from 2014-18, starting 19 games.

Over the course of his five-year career, Dennard has tallied 169 tackles, three interceptions (one for a touchdown), three sacks, and three forced fumbles.

Needless to say, he hasn’t lived up to his billing as a first-round pick.
