Peyton Manning’s stats are poor but the Broncos keep winning

There are 22 other quarterbacks who sit ahead of Manning in passing yards so far this season. To date, Manning has 431 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions and ties for third in quarterback sacks with seven.

Yet, the Broncos remain 2-0.

Thankfully, the Broncos’ defense has stepped up. Ranked No. 1 overall, this defense has registered seven sacks, four interceptions, three fumble recoveries and scored two touchdowns. We’ll see if Manning and the Broncos can magically pull another win out of their hat against the 0-2 Detroit Lions on Sunday.
