Why isn’t Johnny Manziel starting for the Cleveland Browns?

Speaking of Josh McCown starting, why did the Browns decide to bench Manziel in Week 3? Manziel had a more than adequate performance when he started in Week 2 and helped lead the team to a victory over the Tennessee Titans. Manziel passed for 172 yards, scored two touchdowns and remained interception-free. In Week 1 when McCown was under center, the Browns lost.

When will the Browns ever trust Manziel? It doesn’t make sense to draft a quarterback in the first round just to let him sit while the team’s other option who really isn’t much of an improvement, gets the starring role.

Talk about not going with the “hot hand.”
