Eight notable observations about the NFL Week 3 schedule

Brothers Josh McCown, Luke McCown are both starting for the first time together in their NFL careers.

The Cleveland Browns chose to play it safe (or not) and decided that Josh McCown, who has cleared concussion protocol would start Sunday rather than Johnny Manziel. Josh has 50 career starts and sports a 17-33 win/loss record.

Luke McCown will start on Sunday for the New Orleans Saints while Drew Brees sits out with a bruised rotator cuff. Luke has started in only nine games so far in his 10-year career and has not started since he has been Brees’ backup for the last three seasons. He has a 2-7 record as he prepares to play against the 2-0 Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
