Darrelle Revis has filed a lawsuit against former agents Neil Schwartz and Jonathan Feinsod. The New York Jets cornerback is alleging that while he was with the New England Patriots, his former agents kept a clause from him that elevated their fees.
“Revis filed the lawsuit Tuesday in Westchester County Supreme Court,” Darryl Slater of NJ.com said. “The suit claims Schwartz and Feinsod took advantage of Revis’ busy preparations for the Super Bowl in January of 2015 — when he played for the Patriots — by hiding a clause in the deal that bumped their legals fees from 10 percent to 50 percent.”
Slater added that “Officially, Revis is suing Schwartz and Feinsod for fraud, conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, and civil theft.”
Revis fired Schwartz and Feinsod in May of 2016. Until then, the two had worked for Revis since he came into the NFL in 2007.
