The Week 16 NFL schedule is already here, which means it’s time to make a bold prediction for each game on tap. All 32 teams are playing, which means we’re making bold predictions for 16 games from Thursday to Monday.

With several exciting matchups on the way, let’s dive into the action-packed slate ahead.

Seahawks Win, Hold Rams Under 11 Points

Seattle Seahawks
Steven Bisig-Imagn Images

The Rams have easily been one of the NFL’s very best teams this season, ranking in the top three of scoring and points allowed. Sean McVay’s team looks like a Super Bowl contender again. Yet, the Seahawks are no slouches either, as they too rank in the top ten of scoring and points allowed. The Rams have been playing better as of late, but a matchup against Seattle could help bring LA back down to earth.

Jalen Hurts’ 350-Yard Game Lifts Eagles Past Commanders

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders at Philadelphia Eagles
Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

The Eagles’ starting quarterback has taken a lot of criticism this season, and it’s been deserved at times. Yet, he’s also quietly outpacing his production from last season, when Philadelphia won the Super Bowl. He’s had just one game with over 300 passing yards, but that will change after facing a beaten-up Commanders squad.

Bears Score 40, Packers Lose by 20+ Points

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears
David Banks-Imagn Images

While they lost in Week 14 to the Packers, the Bears have been one of the hottest teams in the NFC, winning six of their past seven games. Plus, the Packers are now trying to overcome injuries to Christian Watson and Micah Parsons. In other words, it could take them a week or two to figure things out, which could make for an ugly day in the Windy City.

Myles Garrett Breaks NFL Sack Record with 3 QB Takedowns

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns
Ken Blaze-Imagn Images

Unofficially, Myles Garrett still needs 1.5 sacks to tie Al Baker for the single-season sack record of 23. Officially, he needs just one sack to tie Michael Strahan’s single-season sack record of 22.5. Garrett will be facing the Bills, and Josh Allen has eight games of being sacked fewer than three times this season. Yet, we have a feeling the Browns’ All-Pro pass-rusher will bring his best against the reigning MVP, tallying his fourth game with three or more sacks this season.

Prescott Lights Chargers Up for 400 Yards in Cowboys Win

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys
Raymond Carlin III-Imagn Images

The Cowboys still have very slim playoff hopes, but they’ll need to win out to have any chance. They can move closer to their goals with another big game from Dak Prescott. Of course, it will take more than just another dominant offensive performance, but it’s now or never for Dallas.

Gardner Minshew Throws for 300+ Yards in Chiefs Win Over Titans

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

Now that Patrick Mahomes’ season is over, the Chiefs’ playoff hopes are dead too. But that doesn’t mean Kansas City can’t get an early start on evaluating its roster for next year. In this case, that means seeing what Gardner Minshew is capable of in Andy Reid’s offense. With a full week of starter reps, Minshew shouldn’t be afraid to come out firing, knowing he has nothing to lose. We might even see his first 300-yard game since 2023.

Bengals Dominate Dolphins By 3+ TDs

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
Katie Stratman-Imagn Images

The Bengals and Dolphins don’t have anything left to play for after being eliminated from playoff contention. Yet, the Bengals are probably a bit more ticked off after being forced to play nine games without Joe Burrow, especially after getting shut out last week. Though, Cincinnati can take out its anger this week by dominating the Dolphins by three or more touchdowns, even if it doesn’t mean anything.

Tyler Shough’s First 300-Yard Game Suffocates Jets

NFL: Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
Matthew Hinton-Imagn Images

Slowly and steadily, Saints rookie second-round pick Tyler Shough has looked more like a franchise QB with each passing week. He’s won two games in a row for a Saints team with just four victories on the season. We think he can keep it going this week with the first 300-yard game of his career, but it helps that it comes against a woefully bad Jets team.

Jordan Addison’s 130-Yard Game Helps Vikings Sink Giants

NFL: Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

J.J. McCarthy appears to be making progress in his path to becoming the Vikings’ franchise quarterback. He’s still trying to establish a connection with Justin Jefferson, but we’ve seen him work the ball to his secondary targets more often. We could see more of the same this week, with Jordan Addison bursting through with a few big gains to blow past the 100-yard barrier with a new season-high in receiving yards.

Tetairoa McMillan’s 3 TD Game Helps Panthers Crush Bucs

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers
Jim Dedmon-Imagn Images

Tetairoa McMillan has been one of the best rookies this season, and he’s in play for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. A big game on Sunday would certainly help his candidacy. We’ve seen two 100-yard games and another two games with two or more receiving touchdowns, but we haven’t seen him score three touchdowns. That could change on Sunday.

Devin Lloyd’s Pick-Six Helps Jaguars Trip Broncos

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
Travis Register-Imagn Images

Devin Lloyd leads all linebackers with five interceptions this season. He’s even returned one to the house. Meanwhile, Bo Nix and the Broncos have done an excellent job of limiting mistakes, but eventually they’ll suffer a bad break after winning 11 games in a row. We just might see that on Sunday if Lloyd can get his hands on one of Nix’s passes.

Kirk Cousins Tosses 5 TD in Falcons Win Over Cardinals

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

Knowing he’s campaigning for playing time in 2026, Kirk Cousins has to be razor sharp the rest of the way. He put an excellent game on tape last week; now he’ll have to follow it up with another one. The Cardinals have been struggling on both sides of the ball, which could give Cousins a few extra opportunities to record a new career-high five touchdown passes.

Aaron Rodgers’ 4 TD Leads Steelers Past Lions

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers
Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images

Rodgers dominated the NFC North for several years. It’s a bit of a different story now that the Lions aren’t laughingstocks and with Rodgers on his last leg. Yet, as we’ve seen, Rodgers isn’t done yet. With the Steelers still fighting for a chance at the playoffs, we expect Tomlin and Rodgers to be at their best. But of course, so will the Lions, who have lost three of their past five games.

Jawhar Jordan’s Second 100-Yard Game Lifts Texans Over Raiders

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans
Troy Taormina-Imagn Images

Last week, Jawhar Jordan had his first-ever NFL touches, and he went off for a 100-yard game. The Texans are still scrambling to find healthy and effective rushers, but they may have something here in Jordan, who averaged 6.7 yards per carry in his NFL debut.

Ravens Rush for 250+ Yards, Beat Patriots

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins
Sam Navarro-Imagn Images

The Ravens averaged 187.5 rushing yards per game in 2024, but their ground game hasn’t been nearly as effective in 2025. This year, they’re only averaging 146.2 rushing yards per game. Part of the problem has been Lamar Jackson, who’s gone from averaging 53.8 rushing yards per game last season to just 30.3 this year. Yet, Derrick Henry is averaging 33 fewer rush yards per game too.

Philip Rivers’ 300-Yard Game Helps Colts Beat 49ers

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Seattle Seahawks
Steven-Imagn Images

After 1,800 days without tossing an NFL pass, 44-year-old Philip Rivers put his grandpa pants down and traded them in for a pair of cleats. His first game, which came after just three days of practice, predictably didn’t go that well. Yet, he gave the Colts a chance to win. We expect him and the offense to be much better with a full week of practice. If the Colts want a chance at the playoffs, they’ll need a few big bloop plays to go their way. Can Rivers get his first 300-yard game since 2020?
