More than likely, the Eagles are going to trade Brown after June 1. The Patriots are the top suitor, but a team like the Chiefs could swoop in at the last minute. Everyone involved has waited several months for a trade to be completed, but it seems like this situation is nearing a conclusion.
The Eagles don’t have to trade Brown right away, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see this drag into July. However, New England figures to be the landing spot, and if everyone is operating under the same assumption, it would be best to make Brown a Patriot early in the summer.
