5 NFL players who will rebound after disappointing 2015 debuts

The sky is not falling. Winston is not a bust. His debut wasn’t an abject disaster. Sound familiar? Winston, the other heralded rookie quarterback, completed a 40-yard pass to Vincent Jackson thanks to broken coverage. Other than that, though, Winston struggled against Minnesota’s first-string defense before jumping all over the second unit and finishing 9-of-19 with one interception. Winston returns to the field on Aug. 24 opposite the Cincinnati Bengals on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
