NFL world reacts to latest Antonio Brown drama

Antonio Brown

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

If Antonio Brown does indeed decide to give up football at some point, his next career could be in a starring role on any day-time soap opera.

That’s not hyperbole. The Oakland Raiders wide receiver continues to create drama at a scale that’s unmatched around the NFL world.

The latest example of this came Sunday when Brown failed to show up to Raiders practice because he’s still upset about the NFL not allowing him to wear a specific helmet.

Remember, Brown was away from Raiders training camp earlier this month for that specific reason. It led to suggestions that he might retire. While Brown did eventually report to camp, he was not in attendance on Sunday.

It led to a visibly upset demeanor from Raiders general manager Mike Mayock, who pretty much offered up an ultimatum to Brown.

Needless to say, the football world had its reactions to this latest Brown drama. Here are some of the best.
