Bill Bidwill

The Arizona Cardinals and the broader NFL world lost a true legend on Wednesday with the passing of longtime owner Bill Bidwill at the age of 88.

Bidwill’s father, Charles, bought the then Chicago Cardinals back in 1932. The younger Bidwill had been a member of the organization for eight decades prior to his passing, taking principle ownership back in 1972.

One of the most respected owners in the football world, it goes without saying that the NFL world had a lot to say about his life following the announcement of his passing.
