Arizona Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones is one of the NFL’s premier defenders, but lately he’s been called “underrated” by some. On Sunday, Jones had a funny reaction to all that “underrated” talk.
On Twitter Sunday, Jones made it clear he’s tired of the “underrated” label.
Really, if anyone’s underrating Jones that’s on them. This dude is on another level and clearly is one of the NFL’s most dangerous edge rushers in recent memory.
Since being selected 21st overall in 2012, Jones has racked up 96 sacks. Since the start of the 2015 season, Jones has upped his game to an All-Pro level averaging 14.5 sacks per season. Last year, Jones tallied 19 sacks, good for second in the NFL.
So yeah, stop calling him underrated folks. This dude is an all-out superstar.
