Father’s Day is the one time that children pay homage to men who helped mold them as people. In the sports world in particular, the bond is pretty deep. It’s a bond rooted in teaching kids hard work, dedication and humility. Once those kids grow up to be professional athletes, the praise most of them throw to the men that helped mold them can bring chills. And once grown up, some have their own children to pass that legacy on to.
