The NFL owners will be assembling for their Annual League Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona starting next Sunday, March 26. One of the big topics of conversation will be whether Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis will garner approval for his proposed move to Las Vegas.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the vote on this pivotal development will occur on Monday. He also shared some of the big contingencies that will need to be answered for in order to potentially gain approval.

It’s previously been reported that league owners are expected to approve Davis’ move to Las Vegas (more on that here).

But by no means has it been a smooth road to get to this point. Davis had his primary investor, casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, back out, which then prompted Goldman Sachs to back out as well. Thankfully for Davis, the Raiders secured funding through other means, as the Bank of America picked up the slack.

Even if the Raiders do gain approval for the move, it won’t happen immediately. Davis has already made it clear Oakland will still serve as the home of the Raiders for at least a couple more years.
