Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson ran away with the 2019 NFL MVP award last season thanks to his incredible dual-threat abilities.

Jackson set numerous NFL records along the way and had everyone’s jaw on the floor throughout the season with stunning runs (like this) and legendary moves in the open field.

However, the reigning MVP hinted his game is about to look a heck of a lot different going forward as he and the Ravens offense evolves.

“I doubt if I’m going to be carrying the ball a lot going on in the future,” Jackson said, per the Ravens website. “We’ve got dynamic running backs. We’re going to have even more receivers. We’ve got Hollywood, Mark Andrews, Nick (Boyle), Willie Snead, Miles (Boykin). We’re going to be pretty good. I don’t think I’ll be running a lot.”

Last season, Jackson broke Michael Vick’s all-time quarterback rushing record by running for 1,206 yards with seven touchdowns. He also passed for 3,127 yards with 36 touchdowns, showing he’s much more than just a running quarterback.

Not surprisingly, he’s going to parlay last year’s incredible production into being the cover man for the newest “Madden” game.

It’s going to be fascinating to see how Jackson can evolve his game in his third year as a pro.
